This sword is both of high quality and and a reasonable price for a handforged katana. Beside beginners starting into this class of swords it is also highly interesting for collectors broading their collection or looking for a payable real sword.

Blade: Carbon steel hand-forged with bo-hi (groove). The hardness of the Mune and of the Ha (blade edge) is 53° HRC Rockwell. The blade of this Katana is sharp !

Tsuka (Grip): Wood grip, adapted to the tongue.
Tsuka-ito (handle wrap):

Brass color. Made in 1 piece.
Seppa:
Copper.
2 Mekugi:
Bamboo wood, based upon the traditional method to seat the pins.

Carbon steel, hand polished. With dragon and bird design.
Saya (Scabbard):
Wood. Black lacquered. Curved according to the Sori.

Black (cord sed for tying the Saya to the Obi - knob on the Saya).
