Jaime Lannister, son of Lord Tywin Lannister of Casterly Rock, twin brother of Cersei and older brother of Tyrion, is a knight of the Kingsguard. He is known throughout the Seven Kingdoms as The Kingslayer, a derogatory nickname he earned after turning his own sword on the Mad King Aerys II. Targaryen (in violation of his oath as a member of the Kingsguard) and killing him at the very foot of the Iron Throne during the Sack of King's Landing, at the conclusion of Robert's Rebellion.
Jaime's true motivations for such an act are only revealed to the viewers during the third season of the TV show, as he confides to Brienne of Tarth that the Mad King, refusing to surrender, had ordered him to kill his own father and was determined to burn the city to the ground with wildfire, thus sacrificing the lives of thousands of innocent people, which Jaime was unwilling to let happen.

This replica of Jaime Lannister's sword is an officially licensed collectible meticulously recreated from the actual prop used on the HBO epic fantasy drama TV show Game of Thrones®.
