German 16th C. Gothic War Hammer with Dagger head

Das Vorbild für diese Replik ist ein kurioser Streithammer aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, der vermutlich aus Deutschland stammt. Der Hammerkopf ist geformt wie eine Faust, welche einen Dolch festhält. Die Faust ist aus Messing, der Dolch ist aus Stahl. Am hölzernen Hammerschaft ist am Ende ein Ring aus Messing angebracht.
Waffen dieser Art sind eher selten und es handelte sich vermutlich nicht um Kampfwerkzeuge, sondern eher um Prunkgegenstände.
